I am that thing where your words fail.

I will not say what and why. Anymore. You asked what is it. What is its worth, You asked what I am what does a woman lòook like, what a feminist poet look like. You asked my sex, you pressed for my limits. You grunted. You asked then, why words. Why do I bother. Why thread. Why women's work, why me, why this way, why not that. You asked what it is about the mouth with its language, why are you so obsessed, why words, why does it matter how they are said ... and I swallow my tongue till it arches thick at the back of my throat, and it comes singingly ... out'a my chest. I swallow my eyes and they come out'a my back. I turn away. I swallow my hands my belly, I swallow all of me and I become who I am. A monster, the other of it all ... the language you speak. The language of only half. Being or not being here is another one another way.
